Lace me up!
Been itching to get my hands on a pair of lace-up ankle shoes. I remember having a pair of high-heeled sneakers similar to the ones above at the age of 13. I'm liking the updated versions.

In the navy
Photos taken by Channing.
Wearing: H&M blazer, Banana Republic camisole, thrifted leather skirt, Givenchy lace tights, Carlos patent heels
Been feeling not the mean reds, but the blues this week, and the sun is shining again, which proves that I thrive in rainy weather. Is it just me or do women get high highs and low lows?

It's raining, it's pouring.
It was definitely a rainy day yesterday in Southern California, but we braved the rain for the sake of fashion. There was a Monastery I once spotted and always thought it would be a wonderful site for taking photos. During our photoshoot, we were greeted by a couple of warm Sisters who lived right upstairs of the Monastery. They proceeded to tell us that the building was over a 100 years old! I love it when a building has history, and what a blessing it was to meet them!
Wearing: DKNY nude lace top, wool shorts from Papaya, leopard tights from Ross, Bandalino boots, vintage wool coat gifted from a friend, thrifted medallion necklace.
Channing and her first french macaron.
A couple of loverly nuns.

500 Days of...
My husband and I decided to visit the now famous park from 500 Days of Summer. My husband recognized this park from way back when he used to work in downtown LA. The park was infamous for hobos and such, but Hollywood always knows how to glamorize any location. Since we were already there, we decided to have fun re-enacting the perfect movie for an anti-Valentine's Day.
