A Day in the Life of a Fictional Mom

Olive ruffled vest (old), Zara tank, boyfriend shorts and heels (borrowed), giles & brother railroad spike cuff, Hermes bracelet (borrowed), Rotary watch, D&G sunglasses, Chanel 2.55 reissue | On my mini man - Polo by Ralph Lauren shirt, DIY boyfriend shorts, H&M "chucks"

Here goes another outfit post, its been awhile and I nearly forgot about this one that I did with my friend Susan a couple of months ago outside their lovely home. I give her credit for sprucing me up with some of her fancy accessories ; ). And no, I don't typically run around in high heels while chasing my toddler around...only when the Hubby is around. : )

I love Paris in the Springtime...

A month ago, we took a family vacation back to my favorite country: France! Our first stop was back to the city of lights for a couple of days to meet up with some old friends and revisit old memories. It has been a dream of ours to see the other regions to experience more of the culture, and each one being unique and different than the others. The main challenge would be bringing a 1.5 year old along with us. It was either we all go, or no one goes...and so off we went (and challenging it was, but more details about that later)!

We went to the Hubby's co-worker's wedding last Saturday in Alhambra for a brunch reception, the first of its kind we've ever attended. As you can tell, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. The photos above were taken on the way home in a parking lot after going to Trader Joe's- super glamorous, I know.

Don't ask me about grids.

Go ahead, laugh. I was testing out the flash on our camera and was going for the Marc Jacobs ad "look." The rest of the photos were even more cheesy and unworthy of being posted, but the Hubby found them to be hilarious.

I forgot to mention the fact that I scored a vintage Chanel bag a few months ago for the most fabulous price ever- I basically traded in my labor for a bag, but hey, it's worth it. Funny how things come to you when you stop looking or wanting, but I'm definitely counting my blessings...
